Nice clothing bag, all constructed with webbing strapping, olive drab canvas, these were for carrying officers essentials and could be hung by a reinforced upper mantel to areas of a tent. A very good example of the fur type back pack with black leather trim. ‘RZM SS’ markings having good and clear stamping to the mantel, which includes the ‘VA’ within a circle and date ‘1938 ’on the upper solid back panel. All of the fur is good, all strapping complete with aluminium fittings. The black shoulder straps are missing, these are relatively easy to obtain. read more

A well service used Luftwaffe blue grey rucksack, standard form with two outer pockets, closing neck rope all complete. The leather is good to all of the fittings. Clearly maker stamped and dated ‘1940’ with an original owner’s name hand impressed into the leather on the reverse side. Both straps all complete with clips and fittings. read more

Any equipment Kriegsmarine marked is considered difficult to obtain, this nice set of parade style Y straps with all the leather good and strong. The aluminium fitting are complete and undamaged with large Kriegsmarine marks in three places, one on each of the straps, both the rear single narrow strap and the two shoulder straps. read more

The rare box in the ordnance tan colour for carrying the MG34/42 ZF sight. The inside separation panels are missing however complete with its sprung loaded web tab to the closure catch, which is maker coded and dated ‘42’. The webbing tab still in place. GERMAN WWII TROPICAL AFRIKA KORPS RUCKSACK
An interesting variation on the typical Afrika Korps rucksack made from a mid weight olive brown canvas throughout. Most of the closures are the Lux type buckle and strap end, these are a lightly rusted metal, however good and strong. To the rear are the two Y strap mounting type brackets.
