A nice Q64 manufactured M.40 shell that retains most of its original finish, the paint finish has disappeared from all three of the liner retaining rivet heads. Originally produced as an Austrian M.16 helmet of WWI, used after the war by the Czech forces then recaptured then Third Reich, revamped with the M.40 liner band in zinc with the rounded edge strap clips but still utilising its Czech double width leather strap.
