GERMAN PRE WWI 1847 PATTERN PRUSSIAN ENLISTED MANS BELT BUCKLE.
An extremely nice condition 1847 pattern belt buckle being the larger and squarer example than the later 1895. Nickel centre, brass base having the scroll ‘Gott Mitt Uns and unusually still with a small section of its original leather tab. The old collectors number still affixed to the rear of the buckle. These are difficult to obtain in this very good condition. read more

A nice service worn example of the all steel one-piece extra long telegrapher’s belt buckle with the fittings to each end of the buckle for allowing the line laying equipment to be clipped to the buckle. GERMAN WWI BAVARIAN PICKELHAUBE IN TIN.
A large size, possibly 56, all tin pickelhaube for a Bavarian soldier. The skull has taken some indentations and there are areas of rust bleed through the paintwork. One rivet missing on the reverse side of the circular spike base, which is in brass but has subdued, which matches the subdued brass Bavarian front plate. GERMAN WWI M.17 TRENCH HELMET.
Good exterior finish, some patches of rust bleed through the dark apple green finish. Maker stamped ‘S.C.Bellinger of Fulda’, the size of the shell is indistinct, they only made them in 62 and 64. The helmet is complete with its three white leather pad liners, all three of the pads have their original interior horsehair pads, the tip of one tongue is missing.
