BRITISH WWI PAIR OF BRITISH RFC OFFICERS PORTRAITS.

A very nice pair of portraits of the same officer, each held in nicely tooled Morocco leather cases. The first portrait shows the officer in typical maternity jacket having embroidered pips to each epaulette and wearing the Sam Browne belt. BRITISWH WWI 1916 DATED NAVY WEBLEY HOLSTER.

A very nice condition hard but supple leather brown holster for the Webley Mark 6 revolver, marked ‘HGR 1916’ on one of the belt loops. The holster is constructed in the naval rivetted fashion with two separate numbers stamped inside the flap of ‘664’, which has been partially erased and ‘735’ indicating that this may have been an issue holster.  read more

A superb scrap book and various other items of paperwork pertaining to the 143rd Battalion The Canadian Expeditionary Force. BRITISH WWI ENLISTED RANKS BRODIE HELMET.

A generally good condition Brodie helmet, all original finish remaining to the exterior slight damage to part of the edge trim areas, with its original leather chinstrap which has been collector repaired and also in 2 parts, with its oilskin liner and the remains of its netting interior lining, to the interior of the oil skin lining the standard rectangular Red Brodie pattern helmet marking.  read more

An extremely rare piece of kit being the Mills 1918 officers pattern webbing large pack, obviously obtained by a Frenchman, underneath the closing flap are the initials ‘E.U.F’ with the name ‘P.Morris Inst’, with the town of ‘Versailles.
