A large size M.42 shell, the stamped markings in the rear skirt are too difficult to decipher but on test the liner size would appear to be approximately 58 or 59. Army single decal good and clear with just minor abrasions. The paint finish of the remainder of the skull excellent with standard scuffs and markings. A nice example of the narrow style officer waist belt with double pronged belt buckle, the buckle has the political style of pebbles and is in gilded brass. The leather belt is marked ‘Lunschloss Solingen, with its runner and complete with its cross strap with reciprocating belt loop, which moves along the length of the belt.  read more

A nice condition fur covered back pack, maker coded and dated ‘42’ to the leather on the reverse side. All of its clips and attachment fittings present. The stitching to the leather all in white. No shoulder straps but with the correct attachment clips for fitting directly to the A frame. Some age mould to the olive drab canvas.  read more

An unusual variation of the many back packs for the Third Reich, constructed from a slightly heavier weight of canvas, virtually identical in tone of colour to the police shako covers.
