JAPANESE WWII ARMY OFFICERS KATANA.

A very nice 66cm Showa period blade, which is devoid of any chips. There is a very faint view of the wavy Hamon. The tang is complete with a Showa stamp, which is standard on any blades made after 1934. The actual date of manufacture of this blade is 1941, it has a 7 character signature. A very nice sign in red, white, blue and black measuring 40 x 40cm, the top of sign is surmounted by the NSKK insignia. White square below with a red central field with the outline of a double ended spanner.
