A very early M.40 single decal combat helmet, shell size and maker unfortunately obscured but a small size, painted in the early apple green finish, therefore it must be an early period M.40. The single decal with heavy abrasions as can be seen by our web images, some other minor markings. To the interior the 1940 pattern zinc banded liner with the remains of the leather liner.  read more

Good blade by WKC of Solingen, a few scratches and marks on the sharpened edge of the blade. Good deep Arbeit Adelt RAD motto. Much original cross grain finish remaining. The blade is by Eickhorn, standard double sided etching to the double fullered blade, all of the etching panels still visible and discernible. Celluloid white grip undamaged but toned. GERMAN WWII ARMY SOLDBUCH KURLAND CUFF BAND RECIPIENT.

Excellent photograph in uniform. Entries from October 1943 through to May 1945. Motor Company 401. Issued with a K98 rifle and P38 pistol. The Kurland cuff band award 8th May 1945. Good condition overall. Most of the personnel in the Kurland pocket were captured by the Soviets, hence the rarity of this soldbuch.  read more
