A rare piece of equipment being the blue webbing bayonet frog, this has faded greatly from its original blue colour, on inspecting the frog looking upwards into the aperture for the bayonet one can clearly see the original blue, the remainder has faded. This scarce 1988 work by the same authors that produced the 1966 publication on the fighter pilots have furthered their work by completing the Knight Cross Winner of all the Stuka and Schlachtflieger aces of WWII.
