GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE DESTROYER BADGE.

A nice condition Friedrich Orth of Vienna produced Destroyer Badge. At least 80% of original gilt remaining to the wreath with rubbing to the high spots. Complete with its horizontal wide tapering pin, hook and hinge with its uniform retaining hook in place behind the head of the eagle. Marked ‘FO’ in raised relief on the reverse side.  read more

A very difficult to obtain piece of insignia being a shoulder board for a Postschutz official. Glue patches on the reverse of the orange underlay where it had been adhered to a collectors display board.  read more

A nice clean example, in cast white metal of the Hitler youth leaders belt buckle, marked to the clip RZM M.4/119 . good bright finish remaining overall, with some slight toning to the circular edge.  read more

GERMAN WWII SUBMARINE COMBAT CLASP.

A good example of the scarce Submarine Combat Clasp, this is the type 2 award with the flat back. The majority of the bronze finish remaining with slight loss to the tip of the left hand set of leaves also on the hull of the submarine, with its correct tapering fluted pin. Fully maker and designer marked on the reverse side, the maker being ‘Schwerin, Berlin’.  read more

GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS GREEN BEVO FIELD CAP EAGLE.

The extremely scarce Bevo woven eagle for the SS camouflage reversable cap, green bevo weave on black backing which would have been placed on the spring-coloured outer camouflage of the cap, to the interior autumn pattern camouflage would have been applied another eagle with brown weave to the centre of the eagle.  read more

The standard form of tropical pith helmet issued to the Kriegsmarine, it should be remembered that every arm of the armed forces, including the Navy, Luftwaffe and Army all had different colours for the tropical pith helmets, this is in the classic light tan of the Kriegsmarine that has toned further. A very nice condition and scarce Coastal Artillery M.43 cap, marked size ‘59’ to the interior with a small block of lettering, which unfortunately is indecipherable.
