A magnificent undamaged example of the coloured Allach laying fawn, this beautiful example absolutely perfect in every respect, nice colours. Marked on the base with the name of the designer, Professor T.H.Karner. Model No.41. The SS runes cast white into the octangle. A lovely condition trophelm for the Luftwaffe, double decals, standard format with the six panel crown, two panel lower skirt, centre band, air vent to the top with its red lining, original mid tan chinstrap and its mid tan sweatband. A nicely maker marked and stamped size ‘55’ enlisted ranks issued side cap, which we believe has been field upgraded to officers status. There is no moth damage to the cap but various staining and serious loss of nap in the exposed areas. On turning down the side curtains all the nap is present.
