Pictured on page 480 of Belt Buckles and Brocades of the Third Reich by John R. Angolia, this very rare mint condition buckle with superb gilt. ‘Assmann’ marked on the reverse side. All the silvering to the central octagonal logo good with frosted highlighted swastika. One keeper fitted. A very rare but known and documented variant example.  read more

An absolutely mint condition matt gold Penal Administration officials belt buckle, complete with its single keeper having the double pronged belt fixing system intact.
