Nice quality blade, some blueing remaining. Numbered ‘6653’. Maker marked ‘43FFC’. Bakelite ribbed grips. Double waffen amt stamped to the upper pommel. The rifle retaining system intact and working correctly. Fitted into its scabbard, which is down to its bare steel, no indentations and fitted with its ‘1940’ dated maker marked leather frog. The scabbard is mismatched to the bayonet.
