An large size NS66 helmet with size 58 liner. All original satin rough cast blue finish remaining, Luftwaffe eagle complete although subdued. Leather liner is light and clean, complete with original draw string. Manufacturers stamp to the inner dome. Original 1942 dated leather chin strap with Vienna makers mark. Outline to the upper breast where the Luftwaffe tropical breast eagle was fitted. All of the four brown removable buttons to the pocket are present. The front closure buttons are all present but the majority have lost their brown paint finish. Loops and buttonholes present to each shoulder for shoulder boards. The tunic has been washed many times and is a small size. No visible markings. read more
