BRITISH WWI PAIR OF BRITISH RFC OFFICERS PORTRAITS.

A very nice pair of portraits of the same officer, each held in nicely tooled Morocco leather cases. The first portrait shows the officer in typical maternity jacket having embroidered pips to each epaulette and wearing the Sam Browne belt. The top of the frame has a nice small bronze RFC wing very neatly tacked upon it, this wing is the small type that can be seen used for sweetheart brooches....  read more

A very nice condition all complete 42 inch 1914 waist belt. Maker marked 'Frank Bryan, London' with date '1919'. One of the straps has been contemporarily re-attached to its buckle fixing and matches exactly.  read more

One of the finest examples of English hand embroidery being the cap badge for an officer on the well known airship the R100. Beautifully gold embroidered badge laid onto red velvet within the King’s Crown. Blue and black very fine ribbed material as a base for the lettering ‘Royal Airship Works’.
