A service worn and long stored example of the rare PH gas hood. The PH helmet appeared in 1915 replacing the previous type of helmet known as the Hypo,, both of the eyepieces unbroken, the rubber of the breather tube has solidified and broken away, The Blue shirting material has faded in areas to a cream, parts of the original ink stamping of PH can still be seen on both the front and the back of the hood, slight degrading to the material in places as can be seen by our website images, the breather tube to the interior is still in situ, this item recently discovered in Canada.
