FRENCH WWI INTENDANT ADRIAN HELMET.
One of the most difficult badge helmets to obtain of the French Army in WWI is the Intendant Service, the Intendants were the administrative officials in the French Forces. This is a very large size Adrian, possibly size 59 or 60, it retains a huge degree of its original paint finish with rust bleed showing through on both sides of the skull and on the tip of the comb. The Intendant badge has been copied in many instances, totally original to this helmet, a nice deep strike to this badge. Complete with its original 6 tongued liner, which is attached to its lighter tan sweatband, all complete only parts of the original chinstrap remaining.
