The Tauchrette is a Draeger designed escape vest, they were produced in the maroon colour and in tan by both Draeger and Auer, this is the tan example. It has seen storage wear. A very nice condition pair of the rare Nitsche & Gunther flyers goggles with the flexible bridge. Good clear non tinted lenses with minor markings. Complete with its oxygen bottle, which unfortunately has lost its turning knob, printed instructions on the oxygen bottle. A nice pair of Luftwaffe flying goggles made by Auer. Quite often the rubber moulding around the goggles cracks and corrodes, these are in excellent condition. GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE SURVIVAL DINGY BAILING POUCH.

All the items of Luftwaffe survival equipment are highly desired by Luftwaffe aviation collectors, this small item we have never encountered before, a section of rubber, 24cm x 24cm, printed in black letters the word ‘SCHOPSBECHER’. Although it has three holes to the pouch, it is basically a bailing bucket for emptying water out of the survival dingy.  read more
