GERMAN WWI M10 PRUSSIAN FIELD ARTILLERY TUNIC.

GERMAN WWI M10 PRUSSIAN FIELD ARTILLERY TUNIC.

An absolutely super example of a privately purchased other ranks tunic of good quality, however the exterior almost exactly is that of the standard issue tunic being of a good quality wool with excellent nap remaining and having the stand and fall type collar with NCO?s litzen, originally mounted red boards with ?68? and the artillery yellow grenade device. All buttons throughout are Prussian crown types and the cuffs are of the Saxon cut, this mixing of cuts was indeed very common towards the war?s end and this represents a typical wartime produced best tunic. To the reverse skirts again the detail is much the same and the tunic itself is in super condition with only one or two moth nips throughout and an excellent field grey colour. There are tacks to the front for the mounting of one award or Wound badge. The lining is of brushed cotton throughout. An absolutely super tunic that would display wonderfully and very much represents a wartime worn tunic.

GERMAN WWII MATCHED SET OF NSDAP GOLDEN PARTY BADGES.

GERMAN WWII MATCHED SET OF NSDAP GOLDEN PARTY BADGES.

A very nice condition number matched set of NSDAP Party badges, both numbered ?43008?, the larger 30.5mm badge manufactured by Deschler Munich having absolutely perfect enamel in red, white, black and silver with no scuffing on any part, complete with a good majority of its gilt to the surrounding wreath. Pin back, all complete and undamaged with its matching 25mm badge, which is manufactured by Josef Fuess of Munich. Very minor spidering to the white enamel field of the black swastika, otherwise the enamel overall perfect, complete with good gilt to the surrounding wreath. Pin back suspension is perfect and undamaged.

GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE PARATROOPER BADGE BY C.E.JUNCKER.

GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE PARATROOPER BADGE BY C.E.JUNCKER.

A most superb condition Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge by the renowned maker C.E.Juncker of Berlin. The award retains virtually all of its original finish, excellent gilt to the diving eagle with some light traces of frosted highlights to the edge of the wings. All of the dark grey patinated chemically finished oak and laurel leaf wreath is superb with a good deep strike showing all of the oak and laurel leaves clearly. On the reverse side all of the gilt remaining to the eagle clearly stamped ?C.E.Juncker, Berlin? and the majority of the same chemically patinated finish visible. Thick needle pin, which has been slightly bent to make the badge a snugger fit on the uniform cloth. Slight distortion to the retaining hook. This is an issued and worn badge but thankfully in excellent condition.

GERMAN WWII ARMY ADMINISTRATIVE GENERAL'S GREATCOAT.

GERMAN WWII ARMY ADMINISTRATIVE GENERAL'S GREATCOAT.

A rare piece of uniform being the greatcoat for an Army Administrative General. A beautifully tailored heavyweight Melton cloth greatcoat, all tailored in the standard form for officer greatcoats. Standard Army dark green collar but with the open facings at the front constructed in a sea green, which is the colour for the Administration branch of the Armed Forces. All the buttons are of the gilded variety and the shoulder boards fitted are celion constructed sea green base, red central colour with the inter-twined twisted celion cord configuration of an Administrative General with the gold Administrative HV motif fitted. Gold screw in buttons.

 GERMAN WWII GROSSDEUTSCHLAND HAUPTMANN'S TUNIC.

GERMAN WWII GROSSDEUTSCHLAND HAUPTMANN'S TUNIC.

A good quality and condition tunic worn by a Grossdeutschland Hauptmann, produced in the captured Italian cloth and constructed with the six button front, four pockets without pleats of the M.42/43 style of tunic. The insignia fitted is of white wool piped infantry stitch-in shoulder boards with GD inter-twined motifs in gold. Twin rank pips with slight oxidisation to each board. Infantry officers white central piped collar patches. An NCO's Bevo woven breast eagle and officers heavy bullion wire Grossdeutschland cuff title. There is evidence that the original darts have been removed on the side seams for a larger wearer. Also on the herringbone material on the back of the collar stitch marks can clearly be seen of enlisted ranks collar patches, which coincide with the breast eagle fitting of an NCO's eagle indicating that the wearer has not only grown slightly in size but has been promoted upwards. Two tears to the interior lining, which is in grey silk otherwise excellent condition. Iron Cross ribbon to the second button hole and loops to the left breast pocket for two awards with loops above for two short medal ribbon bars. A good service worn tunic to one of the elite regiments of the Third Reich period.

GERMAN WWI STUNNING WATER BOTTLE SET.

GERMAN WWI STUNNING WATER BOTTLE SET.

One of the finest sets we have ever encountered of a standard item of German issued field equipment. This example having an outer cover of a rough cotton mixed ersatz type material, profusely stamped to the rear of the cover '1916' with the maker's markings for Berlin. All press studs are present and have all their black japanning. The heavy leather harness is in excellent unstained condition with a wonderful light brown colour to the leather, which is all supple and perfectly stable. The carbine hook is complete and functions well. The original cork plug is also in place. The set has seen limited field service with one very small break to the cloth at the base, which does not affect the overall display-ability whatsoever and clearly shows where the bottle has been very lightly used.

GERMAN WWI GUMMI AND SPARE FILTER SET.

GERMAN WWI GUMMI AND SPARE FILTER SET.

An exceedingly rare and completely untouched set in excellent condition, the set itself recently came out of Germany where it had been stored from the war's end. There are several interesting elements to this above average set. The original early short Gummi mask tin is complete with wire framework to the interior of the lid and approximately 90% of the field grey paint with a little rust bleed. The Gummi mask held within is very much above average and remarkably supple for one of these masks. There is a beautiful 'Kannoier' name painted to the bezel of the mask. The straps are all functioning well. Perhaps the scarcest element of the set is the original spare filter bag in a rough grey linen material with the original filter held within. The filter itself is in a remarkable state having the very scarce card base still present with its pull off tab still in place and the closure cap in japanned metal to the filter's top. There is a clear date of '1917' to the canister and only very faint traces of russet rust. The spare filter bag has typical German markings to the interior and is in excellent very lightly used condition. The whole set is totally complete with original canvas carrying tabs with both the short tab and long carrying strap has well as full instructions to the base of the can. A very difficult set to improve upon.

Standard double buckle patent leather strap with double ribbed edged Luftwaffe style peak. Light grey leather sweat band. The inner lining to the cap is in grey silk with a complete centre celluloid lozenge with a retailer in Landshut area. One slight crack to the celluloid otherwise generally in excellent condition however the rear of the crown has been damaged by moth and has been repaired. A rare waffenfarbe.
