An early droop tailed eagle all aluminium one-piece cast buckle, which is maker marked in two places on the reverse side. A well worn buckle with a lot of the detail to the eagle lost, the buckle itself is slightly distorted on a full length leather belt, which has one split.  read more

A nice mismatched set of pebbled brown pouches for the GEW98 ammunition, both pouches have brass D rings, identical in colour and construction with brass rivets on the reverse side. A very nice and extremely large size all fibre bodied pickelhaube indicating that it was constructed during WWI when leather became short. The front plate is of a reserve infantry officer with the large nickel Reserve Officers Cross to the centre of the very finely and deep crafted Bavarian front plate.
