GERMAN WWII CAMOUFLAGE MOTORCYCLE PETROL TANK.

A lovely relic of WWII being a petrol tank from an NSU possibly small capacity motorcycle all in Normandy pattern camouflage. A lovely example of the scarce lightweight version by C.E.Juncker, Berlin. Excellent detail to the dark patinated eagle with its very delicately detailed oak and laurel leaf wreath. A very nice convex example of the Submarine Combat Clasp in bronze. Every piece of its original bronze finish intact, nice high detail to the designer and the manufacturer’s name of ‘Schwerin, Berlin’ with its wide tapering fluted pin. GERMAN WWII AFRIKA KORPS BELT AND BUCKLE IN EARLY HEAVY GREEN.

A very good example of the early green webbing waist belt for the Afrika Korps, the belt stamped size ‘92’ in red ink with further red ink markings to the clip end, which are indecipherable. A good olive drab tropical waist belt measuring 95cm with its correct olive drab painted stamped steel buckle, which is maker stamped, the buckle still having its correct webbing tab, fitted with the letters ‘HZ’ applied to the tab presumably the initials of the owner.
