GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE WAIST BELT IN BLUE.

Probably the rarest of all the Luftwaffe waist belts, stamped in red ‘95cm’ in length. The webbing is in good condition with slight puncture marks where we believe the belt was once used as a hate belt with the application of possibly captured German badges. Complete with its blue painted single stamped buckle with its ultra rare blue webbing tab. To the clip end of the belt other red ink markings but unfortunately unidentifiable. This belt shown in Ausrustung volume 2 page 20. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
