GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE PITH HELMET EAGLE.

The only Luftwaffe eagle that has the head facing to the left with the execption of the cape eagle. Complete with all its silvered finish, slight rubbing to the high spots, complete with its three prong fixing. A rare eagle to fit the Luftwaffe trophelm. Recently purchased from probably the best combat uniform and equipment collection in the United Kingdom comprising Army tropical, Waffen SS, Luftwaffe paratrooper and many other items of the same genre. The collection was begun by the then 15 year old boy who used to visit our own shop in London in the very early 1980’s and has built this collection up over 40 years culminating in the writing of excellent books on these subjects.
