An excellent example by F L & L. Good gilt remaining to the surrounding wreath with toning in places. All the finish remaining to the coastal 88mm gun. GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE PARATROOPER BADGE BY DEUMER.

A good Luftwaffe Paratroopers Badge, which has seen service wear. The gilt is thin to the paratrooper style diving eagle, subdued finish to the oak and laurel leaf wreath, the eagle fitted to the wreath with two delicate small domed rivets, marked ‘W.Deumar, Ludenscheid’ within the lower field of the paratrooper eagle. A very nice example produced by ‘R.K.’ on the reverse side in raised relief. Double constructed item with the Luftwaffe eagle attached to the main body by three rivets. Virtually all of its original finish remaining with slight rubbing to the wing tips of the Luftwaffe eagle with its wide tapering pin, correct hook and hinge.  read more

A nice example of the scarce early pattern Bavarian greatcoat without barrel cuffs. Plain steel grey overall, the nap to the cloth is thin, colour good, some fading around the collar.
