Just prior to WWI Huntley and Palmer the biscuit and sweet maker produced a series of sweet tins that doubled as money boxes with various exteriors for export, this example is in the form of a sentry box with a slot at the top for inserting money. SS MARKED OFFICERS MARCHING BOOTS.

A pair of marching boots worn by an SS officer. The heels have been replaced. The toes still have their metal cleats. They are SS marked in the lower protected area between the sole and the heel, also rubber ink stamped to the interior of each boot. One adjuster loose to the boot. WWI FIFE CASE.

A scarce case for the Fife musical instrument. These cases have a very wide slider to the rear, this was to attach to the 1908 webbing belt, these were indeed carried on field operations. To the front flap is a very clear maker's mark 'J.A.Jacobs & Co Limited 1915'. The leather remains good and supple and a good deep brown colour.  read more
