A slightly tan coloured Bevo weave on black, high quality Bevo woven eagle, cut from roll, still with its original RZM ticket to the reverse side and four light patches of glue where it has been applied to a collectors display board at one stage. Generally used on the SS tropical sahriana tunics and also found quite often used on the M.44 dot pattern camouflage uniforms.  read more

PRE WWII SOMERSET YEOMANRY LIEUTENANT’S UNIFORM.

A nice and scarce all blue uniform tunic and riding breeches of a Lieutenant in the Somerset Yeomanry. All blue body, very minor moth damage with its chained epaulettes, two metallic enamelled rank pips to each chain epaulette, all of the correct buttons of the Somerset Yeomanry, two medal ribbon, one including the Boer War medal, breeches with white stripes.  read more

PRE 1940 ZULU LEADERS WOOD AND WIRE BOUND STAFF.

These wire bound staffs were a form of insignia identifying ranks within the structure of the Zulu regiments. This example 86cm in length with wood ball top, which at some time in its life been split and has been re-stapled together. A standard paper A5 size citation for the Afrika armband, folded once and punch-holed at the top. Awarded to Obergefreiten Helmut Bock, who was part of the Stabakompanie/Pz.Gren.Rgt.125.
