A rimless 1st pattern helmet, non magnetic, the second colour has faded incredibly, some rust to the interior dome flooding through the cover. To one side a lozenge form where a unit insignia was applied but obviously the stitching has rotted and has dropped away from the cover. An ultra rare matched set of red silk piped black centred shoulder boards for a Waffen SS Unterscharfuhrer in the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler. The nco lace has slight oxidisation to one of the boards. A very nice unused condition pair of the late war constructed mountain troopers shoulder boards. Silk piped, black centre with bright green tress. On the reverse side the slip-on tab and the main board sewn together with a single strip of herringbone light cream rayon. Both boards are unlined on the reverse side, this is a late war expediency for saving the wool.  read more

An extremely rare pair of slip-on shoulder boards, rank of Scharfuhrer. Piped in the red and white mixture of shoulder board in silk with the light version of the tress to each board.
