BRITISH WWI R100 ENLISTED RANKS AIR SHIP BADGE.
An extremely rare badge being the enlisted ranks version, worn on the visor cap for a member of the crew of the airship R100. The sister ship the R101 crashed with great publicity in northern France in the middle 1930’s, subsequently the R100 was scrapped. Residue of paper and glue on the back where once adhered to a collectors display board, beautifully hand embroidered. read more

A very nice example of the Luftwaffe Observers Badge. The laurel and oak leaf wreath retains all its original finish. The unique style observer eagle also retains its dark grey patinated finish.
