BRITISH WWI ARTILLERY AND MOUNTED ENLISTED RANKS BOOTS.

A fine pair of the scarce lace up issued artillery and mountain troops riding boots. Stitching loose to the back seam on the right hand boot, both closure leather tabs and buckles present at the top of each boot, some minor distortion to the leather in the foot section, all of the metallic hooks are present with one exception to the left hand boot.  read more

BRITISH WWI R100 ENLISTED RANKS AIR SHIP BADGE.

An extremely rare badge being the enlisted ranks version, worn on the visor cap for a member of the crew of the airship R100. The sister ship the R101 crashed with great publicity in northern France in the middle 1930’s, subsequently the R100 was scrapped. Residue of paper and glue on the back where once adhered to a collectors display board, beautifully hand embroidered.  read more

GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE OBSERVER BADGE BY MEYBAUER.

A very nice example of the Luftwaffe Observers Badge. The laurel and oak leaf wreath retains all its original finish. The unique style observer eagle also retains its dark grey patinated finish. A very rare variation of the Azad Hind sleeve badge normally encountered in Bevo but this example is printed in orange, white and green. A good clear photograph of this printed version being worn is in the excellent For Free India by Martin Bamber published 2010 page 84, clearly obvious that this is the printed sleeve shield and not the Bevo.  read more

An excellent of partly worn Allgemeine SS full dress black trousers with white piping to each leg. Complete with its original RZM ticket. These were worn by a rather short SS officer with a large waist. No moth damage, good nap to the cloth, evidence of only slight wear use.  read more
