GERMAN WWI SIGNED SANKEY CARD OF POUR LE MERITE WINNER BRUNO LOERZER.

A nicely period framed Sankey card number 616 of the well known fighter ace of WWI, Bruno Loerzer with a two line inscription and his signature just above his Iron Cross. Loerzer was an ace of WWI credited with 44 aerial victories, promoted to General Oberst by the end of WWII, a friend of Hermann Goering. GERMAN WWI BINOCULAR CASE.

A very nice field grey green all leather binocular case for the 6 x 30 field binoculars, complete with its matching green shoulder strap. One minor hole to the main body just to the right of the sprung loaded closing clip, which could possibly be a small piece of shrapnel. This would be excellent for a display on a model 1910 field grey officers tunic.  read more

GERMAN WWI ENTRENCHING TOOL WITH ERSATZ STEEL COVER.

Not seen in any photographic work but excessively rare is the WWI German entrenching tool with its ersatz steel cover, the shovel being the standard issue First World War tool in its original field grey green, fitted with its DRGM stamped steel holder with twin leather belt loops and one single long leather closure strap, the closure fits over a lug. Good wood haft.  read more
