A highly unusual cap in its construction being in the standard boat shaped form but constructed in a tropical canvas type material with a heavy weave into the cloth. Faded yellow piping around the scallop of the cap with a machine embroidered enlisted ranks eagle and national cockade. The interior in a faded light blue devoid of any markings. Generally good condition being in a clean barn find condition officers helmet of the 1st and 3rd Battalion of Grenadier Regiment 89.
