A very nice soft Melton material constructed visor cap, four moth nips to the crown with its crushable leather peak and matching colour front and back straps. BRITISH WWI 2ND PATTERN BRODIE HELMET.

A very nice condition 2nd pattern Brodie combat helmet from WWI. Rough sand finish, all paint remaining. To the interior the oilskin liner excellent, stamped size ‘7’ to the internal strap. The large rectangular red ink stamping of ‘Brodie Steel Helmet, War Officer Pattern’ to the inside of the oilskin. Minor moth damage to the upper inner crown felt pad. The main chinstrap is missing.  read more

GERMAN WWII ARMY M.35 SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET, SMALL SIZE.

It is very difficult to get the smallest size available, this example is marked ‘ET60’, originally issued in the early apple green, more than likely as a double decal combat helmet, refurbished at ordnance works and over-painted in a later grey with a replacement decal.
