A standard 2nd pattern Brodie helmet, the shell is in good condition and painted in an unusual green over the original sand based khaki. A terrific time warp helmet recovered from the battlefield of the Balkans , Adrian helmet of large size with battle damage to the surface, rust only, obviously hit by the shockwave of shrapnel the helmet has split to the right hand side of the badge, the liner is missing and has laid in soft sand for many years. A very nice white top naval cap, all blue body with white removable top, the top is in the ribbed material. Some minor rust staining and discoloration but generally excellent. An extremely nice set of horizon blue breeches for an artillery enlisted man. Red piped to each side of the breech. Nicely dated ‘1918’, maker marked to the cotton lining. Good nap to the cloth. A very nice set of lightly combat worn Y straps, which are maker marked and ‘1941’ dated. All the stitching is good and strong. Good differential in colour between the brown and black leather.
