A service worn set of British WWI enlisted mans breeches normally used by both mounted artillery and cavalry troops. All of the tin buttons for the fly present, some buttons from the brace attachments have been replaced. A nice example of the standard single Victory medal, this is well numbered and named to the edge. There is one sheet of research that has been carried out from official records in the form of a photocopy and it appears this man served with the RFC from 5th September 1916 and then with the RAF.
