We believe this to be of naval origin, that would be flown alongside a very similar size naval officers car pennant. 25 cm x 14 cm, with both of its hanging rings, very nice quality machine embroidered Swastika onto a white field with white corded edging to the red flag cloth.  read more

GERMAN WWII 2ND CLASS 1939 BAR TO THE 1914 IRON CROSS 2ND CLASS.

Super condition example retaining all original matt silver plated and bright frosted finish. Maker stamped ‘L11’ to the reverse side (Wilhelm Deumer of Ludensheid). One prong missing from the reverse side otherwise excellent with original ribbon.  read more

A scarce one-piece splittable zinc identity disc marked ‘NSKK 1 Brig’ (NSKK 1st Brigade) this unit was attached to the Wehrmacht and worn by soldier 5384. Some edge corrosion and corrosion to both sides of the zinc.  read more

GERMAN WWII CHOLM SHIELD.

A good unused version of the Cholm shield. Slight rust around the edges that have fractured the paper on the reverse side and very minor surface rust to one arm of the Iron Cross and slightly to the right hand and left hand edges, but generally much original finish remaining. A nice combination of a cased Red Cross Order 1 st class 1937, the cross having excellent enamels to both the white cross and the black eagle, with its fully gilded oak leaf cluster above. GERMAN WWII EAGLE ORDER 1937 TO 39 2ND CLASS AWARD, CASED.

A very fine condition Eagle Order 2nd class with swords. Totally undamaged enamels, gilt to all four eagles and the crossed swords are perfect with the enamel within the arms of the swastika also being good, on the reverse side the gilt is magnificent with its central gilded rivet. The Fortress of Lorient had its unofficial shield produced in many variations, this is a high quality example, flat back, stamped on a zinc-like material with six pre drilled sewing holes for a uniform attachment. We have in the past had variations of these including many soldbuchs with the entry of the Lorient shield plus we have had field typed citations also for the Lorient shield.  read more
