A very unusual interior to this helmet. The helmet shell is a Q66 having very close to all original paint finish remaining, the paint has disappeared completely from the rear liner retaining rivet head, the other two rivet heads have small abrasions around the edge of the heads. GERMAN WWII AFRIKAKORPS OFFICER BELT & BUCKLE.

A light tan, mid war period web belt with officers circular buckle, once painted olive drab, this example having lost its paint finish to the front on the high spots, clear paint still present on the reverse side. Good strong stitching throughout, no maker marks or dates to the leather or buckle itself, both webbing belt fixing loops missing. Priced accordingly.  read more
