A highly unusual cap from the NSKK. Although non size stamped, on test it appears to be size 58 or 59. The upper body, which is a removable blue top and has been hand stitched to the main body of the cap is in the form very similar to a Kriegsmarine NCO visor cap. Shell size SE60, batch number 4516. The helmet retains the majority of its early Luftwaffe blue finish with some rust bleed as can be seen in our web images.
