ITALIAN WWII ITALIAN 6TH MVSN DIVISION OFFICERS DAGGER.

The officers daggers of the MVSN were far higher quality than the standard enlisted mans, the blades are far more professionally finished with nice cross grain polishing. A very nice condition, virtually unworn visor cap, possibly size 56. Standard blue naval type top without any moth damage, mohair centre band, correct naval chinstrap, two anchor side buttons. GERMAN WWII MOTHERS CROSS IN GOLD. CASED.

Beautiful enamels and all gilt remaining with a section of the original ribbon still wrapped in its paper wrapping. Fitted into its presentation case, which is maker marked to the upper inside lid area ‘Ziemer & Sohne, Oberstein’. The silk between the lid and the base is slightly frayed with the gilded outline of the award on the exterior of the presentation case. Slight scuffs to the case.  read more
