This is the type flown by the forerunners of the Luftwaffe, blue cotton machine chain stitch embroidered with the DLV swastika emblem. Makers label ‘FAHMENRICHTER GEGR.1869 KOLN’ machine woven on the bottom edge. Triangular shaped flag measuring 31cm 18cm with one of its original sprung loaded attachment clips.
