GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS OFFICERS OVERSEAS CAP.

A nicely maker marked and stamped size ‘55’ enlisted ranks issued side cap, which we believe has been field upgraded to officers status. There is no moth damage to the cap but various staining and serious loss of nap in the exposed areas. On turning down the side curtains all the nap is present. A beautiful quality plaque in its original presentation cardboard box. Multi coloured enamels commemorating the Hansa meeting on the 6th May 1934. The coat of arms of Hamburg at the lower part of the shield shaped badge. Maker marked ‘M.Fleck & Sohn Hamburg’ on the reverse side.
