A 6cm square but constructed in lozenge form Orientation Drive in Bavaria 1926. Very nice central outline of a driver wearing the motorcyclists helmet studying a map. The DLV uniform required the wearing of one shoulder board only to the right shoulder, this example in gold and silver bullion weave, stitch-in version. White underlay with some discoloration to the underlay itself. The volunteer sleeve badges created by Bevo Wuppertal are of the utmost quality and beauty in their machine weave. This example of the Idel-Ural, cut from roll. The Idel-Ural badge was the badge of the Volga-Tatar Legion of Volunteers for the German forces, mainly composed of Muslim Volga-Tatar but also included other Idel-Ural peoples.  read more
