A rare piece of headdress from WWII being the Coastal Artillery officers M.43 cap. The cap is constructed in the Coastal Artillery Marine green, which differs from the army grey green. A numbered ‘30’ stamped Wound Badge in gold, which has dulled considerably and lost a lot of its gilt but its good metal showing clearly. Original pin, hook and hinge. The number 30 is the Vienna Central Medal Office, Hauptmunzamt. The pin is distorted where it has been heavily used on a tunic.  read more

GERMAN WWII REICHS KRIEGS FLAG.

A good service worn Reichs Kriegs flag with a peppering of moth damage. Large central swastika with the outspread winged eagle and swastika to the upper left hand corner, with its hanging rope and multiply marked with the eagle and swastika over marine ‘M’ followed by ‘R.-BFLG 100 x 170’ followed by a makers stamp. The white overall nicely toned.  read more
