A generally good condition K98 bayonet, much original blueing remaining to the blade, which is maker marked ‘Berg & Company’ the numbers ‘0.21230K’ stamped to the cross guard, ‘9070’ to the reverse of the blade, which does not match the numbers on the scabbard, which are ‘2850’. A very nice clean condition all white metal example of the 1934 NSDAP oath of allegiance badge, a good heavyweight example, maker marked in raised relief on the reverse side, with its heavier weight than normal tinny type fixing pin.  read more

GERMAN WWII DIARY SECTION.

At the end of most German military yearly diaries was a 17 or 30 page section on insignia of many organisations of the Third Reich, this is a black and white full compliment fallen out from a diary 30 pages long. This is probably from a Red Crtoss diary as prominance is given to insignia and flags from the German Red Cross. Interesting research within this booklet from a period publication.  read more

A standard paper A5 size citation for the Afrika armband, folded once and punch-holed at the top. Awarded to Obergefreiten Helmut Bock, who was part of the Stabakompanie/Pz.Gren.Rgt.125. This unit part of the 164th Afrika Light Division, with indelible pen signature of the Colonel and Regimental Commander.  read more

A good grouping of four citations to Obergefreiter Ernst Agger, who served in Grenadier Regiment 501. The Demjansk Shield citation is A5 size non punch holed, one fold, awarded 31st September 1943 with facsimile signature of the Divisional General and a pen signature of the Company Oberleutnant. GERMAN WWII K98 BREECH COVER.

A service used grey canvas and leather breech cover for the K98 rifle. Unusually the leather edge trim is in a blue leather, which appears to have originally been painted black, most of which has disappeared. Marked ‘JAP 1941’ in white ink. Good bright white stitching, no rot to the leather fittings.  read more
