GERMAN WWII WAR SOUVENIR MEDALS.

A lovely piece of history being a German soldier’s five awards all laid on a section of his uniform tunic, laid on black cloth on an old section of cardboard, probably done in the late 40’s early1950’s by the soldier himself. GERMAN WWII ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER WITH OWNER’S INITIALS ENGRAVED.

Very nice mint bright non maker marked blade, deep orange grip without any cracks. Slight rubbing of the plating to the edges of the upper pommel and the high points of the army cross guard. The initials ‘HE’ hand engraved on the reverse side. Good finish remaining to the scabbard, fitted with a deluxe pair of the brocade and grey velvet backed hanging straps.  read more

GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE OFFICERS DAGGER BY WKC.

Superb mint blade with all standard naval etchings, ‘WKC’ logo. Gilt dull to the remaining fittings. White celluloid grip undamaged. The silver portapee knot with its original wrap has oxidised considerably and is solidly fitted to the grip. The scabbard is unusually without dents retaining faint traces of gilt in the lower field around the ring fittings.  read more

The blade is not abused, slightly dull. Good clear SMF and Luftwaffe acceptance stamps. All matching grey finish to the upper pommel, cross guard and scabbard rings. A nice condition Luftwaffe officers sword, single fullered blade. Maker marked ‘Helbig, Steinbach’ with its Luftwaffe acceptance stamp. Good bright finish. Slight black spotting to the upper part of the blade. All of the fittings to the grip and the scabbard are in aluminium. The mobile swastikas all retain their original gilded finish.
