Standard Brodie helmet, two indentations to the crown, painted black with the letter ‘A’ stencilled to the front. The inner liner is size stamped and dated ‘1939’. Original owner’s name hand painted in green paint to the inner shell, also some scratched initials. The shell is dated ‘1939’ with makers stamp ‘JSS’ with its elasticated chinstrap.  read more

The cover itself is rather fractured on the front and back but still nearly all complete. All of the cartoons are complete and undamaged and the run through from 1943 to 1946. A brass bulkhead clock with a 12 hour dial in Roman numeral, second hand present with the name of ‘Dobbie McInnes & Clyde Limited’ to the face. The clock would appear to be inoperable at the present time, it is placed on a wooden wall board. It would appear that Dobbie McInnes were nautical and instrument makers and contractors to the British Admiralty.  read more
