A visored field cap totally bleached white worn by a member of the Luftwaffe in North Africa. Correct tan edged national cockade, grey on tan hand applied eagle, to the eagle there is one unidentified stain, which match the stains on other parts of the headdress. A nice condition visor cap from the Veterans Association. All dark blue body. The black mohair centre band is intertwined sections of swastikas with the Kiel Lighthouse. The badge is stamped brass with the very finely embroidered Iron Cross with Kiel Lighthouse centre. No moth damage. Standard leather peak.
