The two-piece buckle which the back section appears to be constructed from weaker metal than brass, more in the line of copper with its standard nickel overlay plate. One bit of corrosion to the left hand side of the buckle, with its double pronged belt fixing system, which at some time has been restored.  read more

GERMAN WWII POLITICAL LEADERS GORGET.

Generally good condition gorget, some abrasions to the bronze finish otherwise undamaged. The reverse side clip is marked ‘RZM 28’. Complete with its full length neck chain, which is marked ‘RZM1/102’. The chain is complete, however one wire clip of the two wire clips that holds each link together is missing on one of the links. All of the green felt backing to the gorget is complete.  read more

GERMAN WWI UNUSUAL PRUSSIAN BELT AND BUCKLE.

An unusual buckle being a rectangular stamped brass buckle with the standard Prussian Gott Mit Uns coat of arms in excellent condition to the front. Single belt clip with a brass loop fitted to the buckle and fitted to the buckle itself is what appears to be a British made leather belt, traces of a British leather maker’s marking to the belt itself, a curiosity.  read more
