A virtually unused Luftwaffe M.42 combat helmet, very slight rust bleed coming through the Luftwaffe blue grey paint, slight scratching to the left hand wing tip and the head of the eagle. A generally good condition K98 bayonet, much original blueing remaining to the blade, which is maker marked ‘Berg & Company’ the numbers ‘0.21230K’ stamped to the cross guard, ‘9070’ to the reverse of the blade, which does not match the numbers on the scabbard, which are ‘2850’.
