GERMAN WWI BAVARIAN POLICE PICKELHAUBE.

A superb condition all fibre bodied pickelhaube worn by a Police officer of the Bavarian State. To the interior the leather liner is in its original light coloured finish and is made by the company Erel and is complete with its inner artificial silk gold lining. Behind the forehead area there is the remains of the foam cushion, which has solidified.  read more

BRITISH WWI PAIR OF BRITISH RFC OFFICERS PORTRAITS.

A very nice pair of portraits of the same officer, each held in nicely tooled Morocco leather cases. The first portrait shows the officer in typical maternity jacket having embroidered pips to each epaulette and wearing the Sam Browne belt. The top of the frame has a nice small bronze RFC wing very neatly tacked upon it, this wing is the small type that can be seen used for sweetheart brooches....  read more

GERMAN WWII WOUND BADGE IN SILVER WITH UNUSUAL PIN SYSTEM.

A highly unusual variant being the 1936 so-called Condor Legion Wound Badge with M.16 helmet to the front. The pin fixing on the reverse side is very similar to a broach type horizontal pin riveted to the body, both rivets are visible through the main field on the face side.  read more
