A rare cap being the officers version of the M.41 tropical field cap. Silver piping around the lower side of the cap. The insignia fitted is the standard Kriegsmarine gold on tan backing, however the gold weave, although not as bright as normal officers, it is brighter than the standard Bevo weave insignia for the enlisted mans cap. A good example of the 2nd pattern tropical tunic, without pocket pleats. Standard five button front. Fitted with a set of slip-on transport continental shoulder boards of a Hauptfeldwebel, the light blue waffenfarbe has faded down to virtually an infantry white. GERMAN WWII RAD MANS HEWER.

Generally a very nice blade, very slight scratch marks to the cutting edge but no worn upper edges with a good deep ‘Arbeit Adelt’ etched logo. On the reverse side the triangular RADJ insignia ‘Ges Gesch’ with the makers mark of ‘Carl Julius Krebs of Solingen’ with the individual number ‘1137’. The blade is full length but has been reprofiled. Waffen amt stamp clearly marked in the upper flat portion of the blade. Wood grips undamaged but with the initials ‘PA’ incised into the wood.
