A well used Enlisted Mans overseas cap with much nap of cloth gone on the exposed areas, a good sign of age. Bevo eagle and roundel toned to a similar level as the cloth. Green soutache signifying Mountain Troops or possibly Administration. Interior has grey cotton lining with large markers mark stamping and a date of 1940, faint size 55 stamp.  read more

GERMAN WWI 8 INCH ARTILLERY LUGER WOODEN STOCK AND HOLSTER.

The all leather holster in excellent condition for the 8 inch Artillery Luger, complete with its cleaning rod, army group marked inside the flap of the holster ‘B.A.VIII’, all stitching strong complete with the holster flap closing strap. The wood stock in excellent condition, only retaining its upper attachment strap to the main body of the holster, other leather fittings missing.  read more

AUSTRO HUNGARIAN WWI COMBAT HELMET.

A rare Austro Hungarian Berndorfer made combat helmet, the helmet has the Bear marking and the size ‘64’ lightly and faintly stamped into the inner rear skirt. The exterior of the helmet retains at least 75% of the original Austro Hungarian brown paint finish. We have recently been able to obtain a belt know as a hate belt, British Soldiers particularly in both World Wars liked mounting badges and insignia of all nations on these belts. The belt was full of German Third Reich period badges and insignia. A single stamped version of the wound badge in Silver, good finish remaining.  read more
