A very nice condition service worn enlisted ranks tropical overseas cap, consrtructed in a weight of material halfway between the lightweight smooth and the heavy ribbed. Size stamped ‘56½’. A subdued gorget having lost most of its silver finish to the backing shield. Nice patina to the aluminated eagle however both domed aluminated discs have also loss much paint. A nice condition visor cap from the Veterans Association. All dark blue body. The black mohair centre band is intertwined sections of swastikas with the Kiel Lighthouse.
